Halloween!
On the 26th we had the annual Barton family Halloween party. I look forward to this party every year. Stacy and I have so much fun planning it. This year we decided that it would be at my parents house and we would serve Hawaiian Haystacks for dinner. We didn't require costumes this year but we are for sure requiring them again next year. After we ate dinner we played a lot of fun games. We had pumpkin golf and a witch pitch. We also played Halloween bingo. It was a lot of fun. Brooklyn was a watermelon but she didn't like her costume so she didn't stay in it too long. Then the next day she broke out with a horrible rash all over her body so she didn't wear that costume again. Instead she wore a little witch outfit which she looked adorable in!! On Halloween we headed up to Teva for their annual Trick or Treating activity. Brooklyn got a lot of candy. ;) After we went down to my parents trunk or treat which is always a lot of fun. When we were done trick or treating my mom had heard that a street down in the riverbottoms is decorated really fun for Halloween so she wanted to go down and check it out. My dad watched Brooklyn and me, Mike, mom, Stacy and Ty headed down there. The houses are decorated so fun. One house has a haunted house out front that you have to go through to get to the door. We weren't going to go through it but decided to. It was so scary. Poor Ty was frightened and had nightmares for a while after. It was a lot of fun though and we are for sure going to go back next year. Although we will be smarter and not take the babies through the haunted house!
